Tour Details:
For our guests wishing to join our tour, we offer daily transfers from the Belek-Antalya regions. Once you are picked up from the designated locations at the specified time, we embark on a journey to explore the capital of tourism and its rich history. Our tour caters to history and ancient era enthusiasts, starting with a visit to Perge, located just 15 km from Antalya.
According to legend, the ancient city of Perge was founded by the Trojans under the leadership of the seer Kalchas. This archaeological site will undoubtedly capture your attention. The ancient ruins and monuments from the Roman period offer a rich variety: the Roman theater, an impressive 10,000-seat stadium, the Hellenistic gate of the city, the Agora, Roman Baths, the colonnades on the main street of the city, the fountain, and the stepped canal are all worth seeing.
In close proximity (50 km), we find the ancient Greco-Roman city of Aspendos, situated on the Eurymedon (Köprüçay) River. Aspendos, which minted its own coins in the 5th century BC, was once the cultural and commercial center of the southern region of Anatolia, known as Ancient Pamphylia. The beautifully preserved and restored Aspendos amphitheater, built in 155 AD, has become a significant tourist attraction. It has excellent acoustics and stage decor, and in the past, it could accommodate up to 55,000 spectators. It is currently used for important cultural events, festivals, and concerts.
Afterwards, our tour continues with a visit to the beautiful ancient city of Side, located on the coast. Although the area is small, it boasts numerous remnants, a harbor, columns, and three temples, one of which is the popular Temple of Apollo, providing evidence of a rich history. We will have our lunch break in Side before returning to Antalya. On our way back, we will visit the Manavgat Waterfall, where you can cool off and enjoy the scenery, capturing memorable photos.
As our time travel comes to an end, we settle back into our vehicles and drop you off at the designated pick-up points, bidding farewell until we meet again in another event.
This comprehensive and informative product description highlights the key attractions and historical sites visited during our tour, showcasing the cultural and natural beauty of the Belek-Antalya region. Join us on this remarkable journey and create unforgettable memories.
